Description

Porthleven Harbour

A fishing boat leaves Porthleven harbour. A scene similar to this, but in black and white, was shown in the wartime film "The Foreman Went to France." Porthleven then represented a French fishing village. The film was based on the true story of Melbourne Johns, an aircraft factory foreman sent to France to prevent the Nazis getting hold of some vital equipment.
