This elevated view of the Herrington Miners Memorial Garden which is situated in Herrington Country Park, was taken from Johns Rock (another peice of artwork in the park} There is a miners memorial service in the park on the 3rd Saturday of September when many miners banners are paraded, accompanied by a traditional brass band.
