Description

A picture of Great Malvern

The name 'Malvern' is about 2000 years old, and derives from the words "Moelbyrn" or "Moel Vern" which meant "bare hill". People have been visiting Malvern for the healing powers of its water since about 1622. Collecting water from around the Malvern Hills is very popular and attracts people from as far away as Birmingham and Bristol. The reason people go to such great lengths is that Malvern water is very pure. Unlike tap water, it has no additives and unlike other natural waters, it has very little dissolved minerals.
