Highdown Gardens steps away

These steps lead away from one of the pond features & look very impressive in various light. Their is The Cave Pond created on the site of a pigsty & also the Bamboo Pond. Highdown Gardens was created from 1910 onwards & only taken over by Worthing Borough Council in 1967 after the death of Lady Stern. It has a group of volunteers who do much work on the garden to keep it up to it's standard set by the late Sterns.
