Description Description contains history

Church of St Peter

The village of Wolfhampcote on the Warks/Northants border was abandoned in the 14th century & is classified as a deserted medieval village. Legend says the village was wiped out by the Black Death ... though this isn't proven. The church is only used once or twice a year now.
