Gun Emplacement, Sandhaven

Sandhaven Beach Cannon, South Shields, Tyne & Wear 10/02 /11 Located above Trow Rocks at the southern end of Sandhaven Beach this gun is a replica of the original which was on this site to defend the entrance to the Tyne during the war. Sandhaven Caravan Park is located 10mins away facing the promenade.
