Description

Red For Danger

I think it is arum maculatum (cuckoopint) but do not quote me on it. I am sure though that this is poisonous so care to be taken. The plant was seen growing on the edge of the River Mole at Leatherhead.

At first I thought it was one of the Lords and Ladies which has lost some berries, I don't know the other name for it but I may be wrong

Cuckoo-pint, Lords & Ladies both the same. Arum Italicum or Arum Maculatum, its hard to tell without seeing the leaves or a full head of berries. Lovely little pictute none-the-less.
