Description

Sun-Up

Cannot make up my mind on this one, took half a dozen shots the other morning on the way to work and there was quite a red sun not far over the horizon. Chucked the camera onto sunset mode and ended up with the cast that you can see, jury is out there. The other conundrum is does it need a crop and if so which way? I have played around with the chopping machine but not sure what if any crop would improve. Criticise away please.

To start with this is a grand shot whatever you do to it. However I think I would take out the distracting sliver of 'nettle' from the left and then play around with trimming off maybe as much as a quarter from the top leaving the sun higher in the frame

Cracking shot Vince. If anything I think I might just crop a bit off the sky. I do like the way the moon looks to be growing out of the weed just underneath it.

Good silhouettes in the foreground, and it is nice to see the sun in a picture without the usual burn-out.
