Description

Waverley Abbey Approach

This is the scene that greets you as park your car and walk through the gate. The footpath just here is about where the goldfinch obliged and sat still long enough for me to photograph. The remains of the abbey only hint at the size of what it was like in it's time.

The path leads the eye very nicely to the abbey Vince.
