Description

High Street, the Flore's House

The Flore's House is one of the oldest buildings in Oakham. It stands next to the site of Bargate, an entry into the medieval town. It is late 14th century and was built by Roger Flore. There have been later additions but the door, crown-post roof and timber framing are original.
