Description

Burley

Burley on the Hill , Grade I listed mansion in Burley , Rutland was commissioned by Daniel Finch, the second Earl of Nottingham, in 1694. In 1908, a fire broke out during a party attended by Winston Churchill, destroying the west part of the house.
