Description

Mason Bee Nesting Tubes in Greys Court Garden

The female Mason Bee likes to lay her eggs in hollow tubes such as reeds or in holes in timber where other insects have burrowed. The purpose-built nests seen here have been made using paper tubes.

Looks like a high rise block, the bug and bee hotels are becoming a lot more common. Interesting shot Edward.
