Description

North Yorkshire Moors Railway.....Wartime weekend

Every October the NYMR is transformed for a weekend into a wartime railway, and great fun to visit. Have tried to capture the feeling with a very desaturated image (although somewhat rushed)....only you can tell me if I have succeeded.

I have just twigged what makes this shot succeed, the Steam wisping under the window dates it as well.

Yep and it ain't easy to get right.....did think of going sepia but think the desaturated look is much more in keeping with. Have put a couple of sepias up for Ron's approval.
