A picture of Filey
The North Fountain at the derelict holiday park, that was once known as 'Filey Butlin's'. The park has been derelict for around twenty years and the fountains are some of the few remaining remnants of a holiday camp that catered for thousands of happy holidays and created millions of lifelong memories. Should we have preserved one of these fountains? Surely Butlins was just as much part of our heritage, as anything else historical. We just don't realise it yet. The camp was finally cleared completely in 2002.
