Taken on 1st October at Liverpool's Pier Head. I was taking a walk in the hot sunshine and this image was there, so I captured it. The buildings have recently become known as "The Three Graces" not a term I much care for. The Pier Head has changed many times over my life but the Liver, Cunard and Port Of Liverpool Buildings remain as splendid as ever. I love them and was lucky to work in the Port Of Liverpool Building (then known as "The Dock Office") from 1963 to 1969 and went into the other two many times during that period.More pictures of Liverpool by Rod Burkey...

A stunning shot Rod, well done.
Magnificent structures. And with blue sky and fluffy clouds overhead.
