Dockers Clock

This very rare example of an hexagonal clock tower, dating back to 1848, stands in Salisbury Dock, Liverpool. Taken 11.55 on 8th January 2009. At this time of the year the sun never really is overhead.

Fascinating photo. I remember many years ago, as a lad, seeing this clock tower from the Wallasey side of the river. I never got round to seeing it close up. Next time I am in Liverpool, I will check it out.
