Originally some bathing huts and chalets when people used to swim in the local rivers. Now a number of holiday chalets line the river and a few are permanently lived in. Popular with locals as a walking area taking you out to open areas along the River Glen and Welland where they merge. Amongst the reeds you can see interesting abandoned boats as well as a few that are still in use.
