Along the banks of the River Hodder at Hurst Green in Lancashire ... the walk follows the Tolkien Trail and in parts the river was actually iced up completely, it just shows how cold it has been !! this view is from Lower Hodder Bridge.

Glad to see you were standing on a bridge at forst I had visionsof you standing in the middle of the river. Lovely patterns in the ice.
