Nice muted colours brought to life by the warm lamplight
Was considering what makes this so appealing apart from the lamp. Then I realised: no cars.
I totally agree with you Rod. I might allow a classic car, but so many views of historic streets are spoiled by cars. The only intrusion in this picture are the double-yellow lines which presumably are the reason for the absence of cars. A pleasing picture, Steve, and well done Lymington Council for the double-yellows !
Hear hear Rod and Edward. Yesterday I passed through a Kent village with some really picturesque buildings and thought "there should be some good shots". On second look I realised it would be shots essentially of a car park.
