Exploring the most Picturesque & Historic parts of England
They had some birds of prey at the park this year with a number of birds of which this 'hawk' was just one. They did tell me which model it was but i didn't write it down. But I'm sure one of you 'eagle-eyed' bird people will set my mind at rest. They were offering ... hold a bird for £1 or hold a bird and get a A4 photo (within minutes) for £5. And they seemed to be doing a steady trade.

90 per cent sure it's a Red Kite Dave. Great shot, like the way you've coloured the photo.
A beautiful bird indeed and so well emphasised with the popping.
Well taken and patiently processed
A superb image of this awesome bird, I thought it was an Harris Hawk, and I like the way you've enhanced it, nice work mate
Love the contrast, by taking away the fussy background you have done justice to this proud bird, I have it on good authority that this is a Red Tailed Hawk
Like the popping
If its a Harris Hawk, then its a juvinile. Whatever it is, I'm saying its a smasing picture.
