Budleigh Salterton slide

Budleigh Promenade passes beside a section of cliffs showing petrified plant roots. The recent downpours have loosened the red clay which has slipped onto the prom exposing features that resemble faces peering out. You need a little imagination but can pick out chins, mouths, noses, eyes and foreheads.
