Salting Hilll gives access to the main carpark in Budleigh which itself gives access to the pebble beach, Ottermouth and the start of many walking routes leading to Otterton, East Budleigh, Colaton Raleigh, Sidmouth, Newton Poppleford, and many other villages and towns, Over the wall and under the tree on the right you can see an old "pill box" - a remnant of WW II.
