Description

Clashing of Tides

A unique, I'm sure, tidal scene occurs daily at The Causeway sand-bar between Bigbury-on-Sea and Burgh Island. When the tide goes out it splits in half going left & right revealing the sand causeway. Consequently as the tides comes back in they both cross over each other creating huge clashing waves. A wonderful sight indeed!
