Wet and windy Ullswater

The weather forcast for Ullswater today 6-9-11....Wet and windy with occasional sunny spells. Had a lot of wet, felt a lot of wind, didn't see much sun. Heading south from Pooley Bridge towards Howtown where we should have got to walk 6 or 7 miles back to Glenridding. Common sense prevailed and we stayed on the boat.....Wimps one of the crew called us....damn right he was too....enjoyed the boat trip anyway
