Description

Aira Force rockface

The path from the eastern flank of Gowbarrow eventually leads back into the woods around Aira Force so took another wander to the force and although the light had improved there was nothing particularly startling until I was just about to leave when a break in the cloud allowed a small shaft of light through which lit up the rock face to the side of the falls

I remember standing in the exact same place in April Dave, it's a great place, I think I stood for around 20 minutes to get a 'people free' picture. It was a lovely day and very busy. You've done a great job here.
