Description

Haverthwaite station 6

The end of the line. The station buildings track-side from the footbridge. Just in front of the tunnel entrance is the water tower where the engines are uncoupled and watered. The tunnel is only a couple of hundred yards long and I have no idea what is at the end of it......must make a point of finding out someday

Nice set of pictures Dave. I can see this station as a great location for a film set. The buildings are a great example of a by-gone time.
