Scandale Hydro Project 2

Another view of the current devastation of the landscape above Ambleside and something you would NOT expect to see on a fell walk ... a sign pointing the way for 'pedestrians' along with barriers. This is the point near Low Sweden Coppice where the works head off to the right and down the fells into Rydal Park

That looks a real " Blot on the Landscape" - just hope all is going to be temporary.

Whoever designed this diverting route should be made to take a long skinny dip in the coldest lake hoping it make shock their system into one capable of a modicum of common sense. Well captured Dave, as ever.
