Description

Ambleside and Todd Crag

The northern end of Ambleside as seen from Sweden Bridge Road. Todd Crag which eventually leads across to Loughrigg Fell. A short sharp uphill stretch to the fells is well worth the effort for the magnificent vistas all round

Does show how the village nestles in the lower ground with the higher ground around it- maybe affording some protection from very bad weather.
