Description

Sunset over the Langdale Fells

From the Wateredge Inn beer garden again, around 9.30pm. Just after taking these there was a mass exodus from the lakeside tables as a massive hatching took place, with thousands of midges suddenly coming in off the lake.

A bit of camera shake would have spoilt the shot had the midges swarmed as you took the shot. A beautiful picture and not one you are used to after the usual wet trips you have had.
