Description

Dry Stone Wall Ambleside

This wall on the fells above Ambleside was at least 3 foot wide at the top maybe more. It is an amazing art building these walls. A good stone waller picks up a stone and never puts it back down always finding a place for it. Have watched demonstrations at country shows many times, fascinating stuff.
