Description

River Rothay stepping stones

Stepping stones over the River Rothay about half a mile north of Ambleside on the road known as Under Loughrigg, about half way to Pelter Bridge. Never seen them like this, usually at least a foot of stone showing. Didn't dare try to cross them, probably would have in my younger dafter days!!!

So have the stones worn down or the water risen? Nice shot Dave.
