Description

Transporter Bridge landing

This is where the old Transporter Bridge loaded up on the Runcorn side. Behind you can see the Manchester Ship Canal, the River Mersey, and Widnes on the far shore. The Silver Jubilee bridge partly conceals the railway bridge.
