Detail of the clean shaven Christ depicted on the sandstone crucifix to be seen on the wall of St Oswald's Church, Lower Peover. This was carved by John Cassidy and dates from 1921.

It must be a lovely church, Rod. You captured this very nicely. I will use this as my desktop photo on Good Friday. Thanks for the narration, too. It's nice to hear about some of the places in these POE photos, especially for us Yanks.
