Description

Welford, Berkshire

Welford Park house showing it's replaced Victorian ground floor windows, with multi-paned Georgian windows remaining on the upper floors. The present family's ancestors came from County Cork, Ireland when many generations ago, King George II gave them land in return for the family's military services, their then residence being Dunboy Castle.

Well framed shot Paul. Those Victorians. They see the beautiful Georgian windows with their glazing bars and replace them, thus spoiling the balance of the house.
