Thatcham, Berkshire

Launching Chinese lanterns in Thatcham, Berkshire. Farmers, the Civil Aviation Authority, the Coast Guard and fire brigades have all highlighted the dangers of them, but clearly people still like to set them burning aloft.

It's a nice pic, but I guess this practice will eventually be made illegal, as it is rather dangerous. So, good to have a pic of them!

Good photo.....BUT, was in Dorset last week and a thatched cottage burnt to the ground by a chinese lantern..pretty to look at, very dangerous
