A fine shot of a fine building Edward
Thank you for your kind comment, Paul. This church is Grade II listed, built 1872-73, and gets a mention by Pevsner in his 'Buildings of England'. It is a big eye-catching building with its rough rock facings and its red stone window dressings. It is situated in a fairly narrow street so it is difficult to get a shot without converging verticals, which I have left largely uncorrected in this shot.
Very handsome church. Excellent
