Description

Newbury, Berkshire

The Corn Exchange in The Market Place, Newbury, Berkshire dates from 1861 and today has been altered into a theatre and arts centre. In the summer of 1944, Capt. Glenn Miller and his band performed here for the people of Newbury and US military personnel in the region.
