Is it really OK for other sites to use pictures from POE?

Just to update you all. After a polite request to remove all the images from the site in question, and receiving no response thus far, we have taken a different course of action with immediate effect.

This must be a really dumb question but were you able to actually block the picture or is it indicating that the next picture is used without permission, because straight after one of the notices I recognised another POE picture  X/1086006, then one after another L/1074626, L/1074599, thats where I stopped so I could ask my dumb questionEmbarassed

I'm with Cathy I'm a bit confused too and would love a more indepth explanation if its not too much trouble.

Also, to offer best protection in future does anyone have any advice, for example size and resolution of images, to watermark or not to watermark etc.

There are at least 96 photos from POE visible, between the two messages saying a photo was used without permission,

I was just pondering on this - isn't it fabulous that someone thought it was worth stealing almost 100 photos from the POE site, never let it be said that their photos aren't good enough (Steph are you reading?), On a lighter note should this be called
