Is it really OK for other sites to use pictures from POE?

When I first found POE I was impressed by the regular contributors who appeared to give their time energy and photos freely and without thought of reward to make this an extraodinary site and I decided that this was for me. In the last few days we have come across what I would describe as two bad internet apples, Noddy and Rob Hood, could they be brothers I wonder.

Love to all my POE friends I look forward to continuing a mutually rewarding relationship KissKissKiss

That was nce, Sally.  I feel the same way.  Kiss

I have just been looking at this site again, when I clicked on the bar it sometimes mentioned picturesofengland, flickr, and photobucket.

My two are in the section 'Country Cottages' and are small size and does not mention where they are but I had wrote the names on the pictures. When I right clicked on one of them and saved it to 'my pictures'  it had the same number as the one on POE'

I cannot think what satisfaction one gets of using other peoples pics.

James: Are you referring to the terrible joke or the joke-teller?

Just to update you all. After a polite request to remove all the images from the site in question, and receiving no response thus far, we have taken a different course of action with immediate effect.

Please see here: http://www.skyscraperlife.com/united-kingdom/30298-united-kingdom-pictures.html

Again, many thanks to Cathy for alerting us to it.
