What is the name of the famous cafe in Dublin where you can go upstairs at lunchtime and see a play?

Yes,it's Bewley's Oriental Cafe. Bewley's Cafe Theatre is upstairs.

In the evening,there's cabaret,jazz or comedy.Well done John.

My first thoughts were Fishbourne, Bignor or Lullingstone but I think they are around 100 years earlier. I'm trying to do this without Google.

I'm guessing probably wrongly so that we are looking for somewhere in Kent, I'm not sure about the sone though - Folkstone ?

The Roman Painted House in Dover. Vera Lynn sang "The White Cliffs of Dover". That clue gave it away.

That's correct, John.Well done. I saw that film when I was very young.I remember the hammer almost hitting the local minister who was passing on his bike.Maybe it was a sledge hammer.
