I know her body was never found John. I also seem to remember there was a possibility she may have been on some sort of undercover operation, and she may not have been alone in the plane. I think I also read when I was looking at her for another Quizzy, I think of Dave's a while back, that there was talk of her being shot down by so called friendly fire from our anti aircraft guns.

It was probably not friendly fire John, as she failed to respond to a request for identification. Thinking the plane may have belonged to the enemy she was supposedly shot down by the guns of HMS Haslemere. If she had answered the request then it might have been a different ending.

His name is rarely remembered, but when he lost is job, whilst packing his belongings he mistakenly took with him an item that would prove to be of great significance.

What was the item ?

Why was the item so important ?

Nothing to do with Dickens, something a lot more real John.

The person who mistakenly took the item shares a surname with an English PM.
