The image uploads of 5 per day seem to have confirmed what most were saying here in the forum, like it being an opportunity to earn a fast buck without having to commit to a miserable £15.00

The mind boggles, what a greedy lot we are! (Well some of us anyhow).

The point being, the massive uploads have ceased!

Certainly seems that way. But we are back to the weekend where generally people have a bit more time!! But the upload cap should have the required effect. But the last couple of days does make the initial influx of uploads point to greed and a fast buck to be made. Would be interesting to know how many images have been sold

I like that as well John, you might have a picture with an interesting story behind it that people might want to see, but not necessarily one that would sell.

As a free account holder any pictures of mine that sell would be good for POE as they'd get some kind of contribution

I've been a member of other sites where in the end the critique is that harsh I've had comments like "a little to the left would look better" or "a closer crop would focus more on the building" even though I took the photo for the sky

If someone wants to pay for one of my pictures then so be it, it obviously suits their taste but all I do is try to show England whether it suits people's tastes or not.

Agree with your points about pictures Andy, as they should not have to be pretty, but make a statement about our country. Documentary photography is a case in point. Striking to the eye but not always beautiful.
