About Gates Lodge

Gates lodge is a Victorian listed 4 star self-catering detatched cottage which sleeps up to 4. Professionally converted with no expense spared in 2011 from the original Cart-Lodge and stable, it is situated in the grounds of a former 16th Century Farmhouse and Inn. You will be surrounded by thousands of acres of farmland, adjacent to a 40 acre common, home to free-roaming horses between mid May - mid October and SSSI designated.
Providing a very high standard of self catering accommodation, it is absolutely ideal for discerning families or couples who are looking for a full self-contained country haven in one of England's rarest unspolit locations.
Warm and bright, Gates Lodge is equipped with all modern conveniences, whilst retaining its original character with exposed oak beams and solid oak floors.
Naturally there are new furnishings throughout, complete with WC / electric shower room, traditional wood-burner, flat screen television, and lounge just within wi-fi reach of Jolly Farmers.
The kitchen is fully equipped with Bosch cooker/hob, toaster, washing machine, and dishwasher.

Plenty for families such as Jimmy's Farm, Maize Maze, Africa Alive and several castles, old airfields, museums and arts centres.
