Pictures of Diss
Diss is a beautiful old market town built around the edge of a six acre lake. The town shows a good mix of pleasant properties from the Tudor, Georgian and Victorian periods. The handsome Perpendicular church has two chancel chapels of the 15th-century built by local craftsmen and contains reminders of an ancient past. There is a good mixture of shops which includes specialist craft and antiques. Interesting old inns and good restaurants can be found both in and outside of the town. Attractions close to the town include the delightful River Waveney, a windmill and the the Steam Museum and gardens.
