About The Langbury
Standing in its own grounds, the hotel is in an elevated position in the small village of Blue Anchor. This small friendly non smoking hotel has become renowned for its particular blend of comfort and personal service. The hotel enjoys magnificent views of the sea and the hills of glorious Exmoor which are a feast for the eyes at any time of year. We are approximately three miles from the medieval village of Dunster with its fairy-tale castle. The traditional seaside resort of Minehead is five miles by road. The town offers shops, golf, sea-fishing trips, riding stables and an indoor swimming pool. The harbour is pretty and the old part of the town around the Church is worth exploring on the way up to North Hill which gives spectacular views of the coast and surrounding hills.
