About Bankwell Cottage

.Bankwell cottage is the sister cottage to Sunnybeck cottage in Giggleswick.
This cottage has 3 double bedrooms, family bathroom, modern yet cosy feel lounge/diner. Bespoke kitchen with all mod cons, dishwasher, washer dryer, retro American fridge/freeze, downstairs wc.
The cottage has fast connecting wifi, and ipod dock, plasma tv with freeview.
There is also a secure child friendly private garden, 1 small well behaved dog is permitted (£25 weekly charge) conditions apply.
We also ask for a £100 refundable security deposit, paid separately.
The cottage has off road private parking and a bike store or buggy store.
The cottage is situated in the chocolate box village of Giggleswick with it's 2 pubs, church and the famous Giggleswick Independent school with its beautiful chapel.
The cottage is walking distance to Settle with it's Tuesday market, cafes, restaurants, pubs and small independent shops. the town is like stepping back in time and very pretty.
There is also the famous Settle to Carlisle railway, plus regular trains to Leeds for some retail therapy.
Manchester/ Harrogate/ York are all an hour by car as is the Lake district if you fancy different scenery.
Giggleswick is situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park so there is plenty to do with stunning scenery for walking, cycling or attempting the Three Peaks challenge.
This cottage is very child friendly and there is a local playground nearby and ducks to feed on the Beck.
The cottage has a relaxed feel and many of the visitors have booked to return as they may arrive stressed, but definately leave recharged.
