About Isle of Wight
Just off the South coast of England lies the largest Island off the British mainland 'The Isle of Wight'. Covering approximately 150 square miles, the Island is one of significant beauty with endless attractions such as the Roman Villa situated in the Isle of Wights main town Newport, 'Blackgang Chine', 40 acres of Victorian cliff top gardens, 'Carisbrooke Castle' which offers seven acres of castle and earthworks to explore and The Isle of Wight Steam Railway which passes through five and a half miles of unspoiled Island countryside. There are also many picturesque beaches to visit, many of which are award winning.
