We've a new refreshed look here at The Hickstead - why not pop in and get some refreshment of a different kind....with our compliments! Although only 20 minutes away from the motorway and a major airport, this idyllic, secluded setting, makes it seem like you're cut off from present day pressures. Exploring the local historic towns with their shops, castles and narrow streets is a relaxed way to spend a day. Our 52 en-suite rooms offer an appealing environment in which to relax. They can be smoking or non-smoking (on request) and have satellite TV, radio, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, early morning calls, newspaper delivery, hairdryer, trouser press, iron & ironing board, hospitality tray and laundry service. The Sussex Gate Restaurant presents a tranquil atmosphere, imaginative international flavours and a sophisticated wine list. Retiring to The Grange Bar for an after-dinner liqueur is a civilised way to conclude a special evening. As a guest, you can also enjoy full access to the health club, which includes an indoor swimming pool, gym and sauna. The Hickstead Hotel also has 5 various-sized conference rooms, accommodating groups both small and large. All have wireless broadband availability. Please note that the hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment. The hotel bar and restaurant will be closed during this time, but food and drink will be available in our marquee. This is due to be completed by 4th August 2006.
