About Beech Cottage
Beech Cottage was the first of our barns to be converted and comprises a kitchen/dining area/lounge,one double bedroom and spacious bathroom. It has been likened to the Tardis since it is bigger inside than it looks!
All on one level, it has underfloor heating and tiled floors making it warm and cosy in the winter but cool in the summer with an electric stove for instant heat or a warm glow on chilly evenings.
The fully fitted kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, fridge with freeze box, microwave oven, toaster, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board whilst the lounge has a television with Freeview, DVD player and comfy leather seating unit with chaise longue.
There is a wealth of tourist information available for you to peruse along with books and games.
The bedroom has a comfortable double bed with bedside tables, lamps, radio alarm and wardrobe unit whilst the bathroom has a bath with shower over, washbasin, toilet, heated towel rail ,shaver socket and extending mirror.
Your safety is important to us so the cottage is fitted with first aid kit, smoke alarm, first aid kit and emergency exit windows which we hope will never be used.
All windows except the bathroom have views over open farmland and you may be able to see pheasant, lapwings, hawks, little owls, foxes or - very rarely - a buzzard.
Outside there are lawns to the front and side with table, chairs and umbrella and there is a barbecue available on request.
During the summer some of our pedigree Limousin cattle and calves will be out in the fields. They can be very nosy and boisterous so we cannot accept pets or children.
Little Summerhill Cottages are a non smoking establishment. See below for recommended towns and attractions near Beech Cottage.
