About Denstone

Denstone is a peaceful village set in the midst of rural Staffordshire countryside, where farm meadows are watered from a myriad of sparkling rivers flowing down from the Peak District National Park.

The village is central to fine walking country, it is on the Staffordshire Way and the Tissington Trail, as such it is attractive not only to walkers, but also to cyclists and horse riders.

Alton Towers, one of Staffordshire's top attractions, lies around ten minutes drive to the north of Denstone and a little further on is the lovely market town of Ashbourne. To the south lies Uttoxeter with its famous racecourse. Nearby beauty spots include the magnificent Dovedale Valley and the Churnet Valley.

The Caledonian Canal has a wealth of wildlife, and provides opportunities for boating enthusiasts. Other near-by attractions include the Potteries, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.
